About Our Program

This project addressed the urgent need for enhanced cybersecurity capabilities within the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) of seven least developed Asian countries. Through a series of three online hands-on workshops, we equipped 96 IT professionals with critical knowledge and skills to identify, mitigate, and manage web and application security threats.

Led by the University of Dhaka, the initiative aimed to build resilient and secure digital infrastructures in academic institutions, while also promoting regional collaboration and gender inclusion in the cybersecurity domain.

Our Mission

To enhance web and application security capacity among NREN professionals in LDC countries through hands-on training, building technical expertise and promoting inclusive participation in cybersecurity.
